Another village within Cayuga County is Aurora. It is a small village located on the east side of scenic Cayuga Lake, within the Southern Cayuga School district. It is the home of Wells College as well as the Peachtown Elementary School. Other attractions include the Morgan Opera House, which offers entertainment throughout the year, and MacKenzie-Childs, manufacturer of unique ceramic, wood and glass home decor.
